Dr. Gorski is a pioneer of the cementless total hip replacement surgery. Cementless implants were designed to enable young, active patients to benefit from total hip surgery. These designs revolutionized the industry and have been used successfully for over 22 years and are the leading designs in the industry. Johnson & Johnson / DePuy makes the AML, the SROM, as well as Dr. Gorski's patented graduated AML total hip design. Dr. Gorski pioneered the SROM design for the most difficult cases of total hip replacement using a modular approach. This hip was first used at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Center, New York, and is now used around the world to treat congenitally dislocated hips. These two designs have not only stood the test of time, but have evolved to become the gold standard reference for all other competing designs. Dr. Gorski has been issued a United States Patent for a total hip design that is also made by Johnson & Johnson / Depuy.
